GOW2 “Valentine Event” hands out chocolate in the form of XP
Epic Games will host a Valentine Event of sorts in Gears of War 2, giving players bonus XP for showing how much they love their fellow man by handing out healthy doses of death and killin’.
Hell yeah.
According to the game’s fourm (thanks, beefjack), the event will last three days up to a week, and take place between February 8-14.
During the event, revives are worth double points in all game modes, Horde mode rewards double XP for each completed wave, and Wingman mode rewards double the normal XP.
The final touches are being discussed, so there may be some changes or more goodies announced soon.
Is this megaton face melting news Cliff was on about earlier in the week? Maybe so, maybe not. We’ll just have to wait and see.
