Dark Void PC demo released
IGN’s exclusively hosting a PC version of the Dark Void demo. Yours for just over 1Gb.
Capcom had already said that a PC demo of the Airtight action game wasn’t “announced,” speaking last week on the release of the 360 version.
Why the delay? As far as we can gather, the PC version just wasn’t ready alongside its console siblings. Swings, roundabouts, etc.
The game itself features a man, a jetpack and a bunch of bad people in a spooky special place. These are facts.
It releases on PC, 360 and PS3 on January 22.

I’d also image the PC is better technically as the file size is larger than both 360 and PS3 demos (PS3 being around 700mb).

Mouse controls are wank for flying though. It also for some bizarre reason uses and ultra old version of physx.

When it was announced (2 years ago?) it looked cool… now I have no interest in it and the demo made me actually loathe it.

i thought that…
this game probably would’ve done better without a demo or a post release demo
as i would’ve definitely rented it, now after the demo, i don’t think i’ll bother
for example, i rented viking….and it was terrible, if it had had a demo i would’ve know better

It’s also got Nolan North in. I think he’s a great actor but his voice is too distinctive.

I think developers (or publishers) want Nathan Drake so they hire Nolan North.
They want a character that’s charming and fun… so they force Nolan to do his Drake voice.. despite him being able to do a variety of different accents.
What they don’t see is that it’s all in the execution. Yes he is a great voice actor but he would be nothing (even in Uncharted) with out the proper direction and chemistry.
