A lighting artist for EA DICE, Oscar Carlen, has listed two “2009-present” projects on his portfolio as Battlefield 3 and Mirror’s Edge 2.
There’s also pretty pictures and a video.
Whether Mirror’s Edge 2 survived the EA layoffs is yet to be seen, but we’ll send a mail out and see if anyone gets back with us.

No guns, no crappy flash-animation cutscenes, far less combat, and no crappy storyline this time kthnxbye

LOL he is quick! He has already changed his 2009-present entry to “Lighting at EA DICE (Move along, nothing to see here…)”

He still has both Battlefield 3 and Mirror’s Edge 2 in his LinkedIn profile.

Hey, I’d buy a Mirror’s Edge sequel! As long as they fired the cut-scene guy.

I want exactly the same game Soong wants. I really hope Mirror’s Edge 2 makes it to the shelves.
Johnny Cullen said:
He’s removed ME2 as well from his LinkedIn.

Would like to see this happen, and be successful.

This game was perfection.
I just hope they don’t make Faith a gun-totting Lara Croft…

There´s no Mirror’s Edge 2 or Battlefield 3 games mentioned in there.

Well, there’s an iPhone game coming, so that’s something at least. It looks like it’s a 3D side-scrolling platformer, hopefully the loss of the first person view isn’t too damaging.
