Just Cause 2 event reveals PS3 specific features

justcause2

PlayDevil just got back from the Just Cause 2 event in London, and it looks like the PS3 version of the game will have the following additional features, not included in the Xbox 360 version:

  • Video capture feature
  • Can auto-record/record last 30 seconds of gameplay
  • Manual record up to 10 minutes
  • Can transfer directly to Youtube

We’re sure more news will be coming out of the event, and we’ll keep you posted.

Until then, check out these screens on IGN.

So did you just get back from the event or did PlayDevil? Or is that meant to be a quote?

NICE Features… I would like to see more games incorporate this.

I meant to use quotation marks, and didn’t.

I just took it out instead. Easier that way. TGIF.

I had over 10 minute fight with another human in Demons Souls.. I do not think anyone would wach 10 minutes of us bashing eachother!

MW2 needs this. Heck all PS3 games should come programed to take advantage of PS3′s special capabilities but its all on Sony to enforce it.

Totally agree. It’s clear that 360 is going to enjoy a slim technical advantage in multiplat games for the vast majority of, if not the duration of the generation, so Sony should be pushing this sort of stuff hard, to differentiate their offerings.

I’d always considered this a bit of a 360 franchise, so I’m surprised they’re spending extra effort on the PS3 version. Looking forward to it though, looks like a considerably more fleshed out version of the original release.
