Confirmed: APB beta now underway

Realtime Worlds has confirmed to VG247 that APB’s beta has now started.

“Yes, we have just begun closed beta for APB,” marketing boss John Davies told us today my email.

“We are still in the very early stages beta testing,” he added.

A couple of stories went live elsewhere this afternoon saying users had received emails saying the beta was underway.

And that’s that. Can we play now, please?

The saddest part of my effort to get in is that I don’t actually remember if I applied for the beta or did not.

I think I applied, remember writing why I want to get in the registration form, but I am not totally sure if I submitted the application. Lame, I know.

i’ve been in it from Sunday, it’s ok if laggy, the car physics are also a bit ropey and lag spikes can cause car oddness, still it’s a got a ways to go, they’ll need to add more content and more reasons for people to team up though.
