Multiplayer and Spec Ops maps for Modern Warfare 2 revealed
MW2Blog.com has managed to obtain what looks like two lists which feature the names of the maps for the Spec Ops mode of Modern Warfare 2, as well as the game’s multiplayer.
Some maps for Spec Ops include Hidden, The Pit and Terminal, while some of the multiplayer maps include Afghan, Derail and Invasion.

You may have seen one of the maps called “The Pit” here. IW really should say MW2 is a Fallout 3 prequel now after this morning’s epic new trailer – get it here.

Thats a decent amount of maps, other games need to pay attention.

True but a bit chicken/egg. They can afford to put a decent number of maps in as they know they will get millions of sales. On the other hand lack of decent maps may be part of what keeps other games from getting the sales.
Was very impressed with the standard of maps in CoD4. All had their own distinct qualities and justification for being there. Even if I played badly all the time on some I could see why it was there.
