New Assassin’s Creed II dev diary shows play, Mario

The latest Assassin’s Creed II dev diary – after the break – includes new gameplay footage and a good amount of background information.

Did you know Ezio has an uncle Mario? You do know.

The game’s out later this year. It’ll be pride of place on the Ubi stand at GamesCom next week.

Being able to buy stuff looks awesome, and it looks like more of an RPG this time round than an action-adventure.
