My Xbox layout changes show a bit of improvement

xboxlive

The My Xbox portion of Xbox.com was updated during yesterday’s downtime.

Users will notice that the layout has changed, shows your Avatar and friends’ Avatars and status on the main page, and pop-up windows allow you interact with your gaming pals.

If they are online or off, it gives you options like sending messages and checking gamerscores.

Not a massive change, but it looks a bit better and seems more user friendly.

It does seem to be suffering the slight downside of being slower than a legless dog rolling uphill.

Really I’m just bitter that there’s three(!) new Arcade releases that I’m interested in and Live’s not having any of it. Or my money, for that matter.

The Games Marketplace has gotten alot speedier aswell, Content just seems to pop-up straightaway now!

Users will also notice it’s a LOT slower then it was before.

Two slower, one faster comment.

Or is it that the website is slower, but the marketplace is quicker?

I don’t know whether it’s faster or slower, but it’s certainly fugly. You have to scroll to see stuff now – previously it all fit snugly within a single screen.
