Speaking in today’s full-year investor call, Ubisoft boss Yves Guillemot narrowed down release dates by quarter for the following titles:

Q3 (November – December 2009)
Assassin’s Creed 2, Splinter Cell: Conviction; Red Steel 2, Shaun White Snowboarding: World Stage and Rabbids Go Home.

Q4 (January 2010 to March 2010)
R.U.S.E., I Am Alive and a new Ghost Recon.

Good news for those dying for the much delayed Splinter Cell: Conviction.

So along with Take 2 Ubisoft is aiming again at the end of the year for its major releases.

Didn’t publishers get burned from last years debacle with too many high profile titles coming out all in a short time frame and even MS saying publishers need to spread out major releases ?

    GET IN!!!

It was hardly a debacle, just EA, Eidos and Ubisoft didn’t do that well…

I am looking forward to seeing it for sure. Hope it’s lost the unecessary emoness, and the social stealth aspect. Lets have Chaos Thoery Part Deux.

And then I’ll wait for the PS3 port.

By the way, what other games have had an irregular development like Splinter Cell?

    Too Human?

Uh huh… I hope this is the game that diffuses that stigmatism, I associate with disrupted development cycles.

    Duke Nukem Forever! :-D

I’m sort of interested in seeing how Splinter Cell turns out, but not that interested. I Am Alive is a more intriguing prospect, but that appears to have entered its own particular brand of development hell.

Oh well, at less there’s Assassin’s Creed 2! Will get! (unless shit)
