Uncharted 2 single-player trailer resurfaces with extra goodness

uncharted2a3

The Uncharted 2 trailer that was posted yesterday has surfaced again, but this time, it has a larger chunk of coolness to it.

Looking better everyday, we think.

Game’s out later this year, video’s after the break.

Nice, but that’s not the exact same video, although it’s the same scene it’s a different playthrough (of course, longer). Still, looks fucking great Can’t believe it looks better than the first one!

Looking good. Hope I get on with it better than the first one.

That is astounding. I am getting steadily more excited as I see more of this.

More KOOLAID everyone?

Seriously, I don’t want ND to hear this reponse. Becuase it’s not problemless.

Work the animations… come on.

Also, someone on NeoGAF slam EtherSnake’s head on the wall…

He always talks technical shit and he does not have a clue. He’s sayign this game does realtime ambient occlusion, which is bullshit. And only yesterday he was saying ssao, which it does do. But they are TOTALLY different.

One (ssao) is a 2D view based one, that is ‘technically’ innacurate – but looks great, and the other(rtao) actually caculates light diffusion around an object.

And the amount of tiems I’ve heard him bullshit is frsutrating.

I am much better than him at bullshitting xD

Stealth gameplay that makes MGS4 look like an ancient relic. This is the most impressive game I’ve seen this gen. Astonishing.

Just showed it to a mate and another thing hit me: brilliant camera control and movement with the play.

And I’m off to Play to preorder…….

I think the camera is a little high, tbh. It’s fine when running and jumping but for the combat it feels as though you have to aim down all the time.

Anyway, it’s a minor thing that I sure will pale into insignificance once you’re playing.

Hopefully we’ll get a date at E3.

Looks good the way it bounces very slightly as if on steadycam (rather than fixed like it’s on a tripod).

Yeah, that’s a neat touch. In Gears it’s very fixed and sometimes you feel like you’re being guided by the camera rather than the other way round.

If the “no PS3 price cut at E3″ claims are true, put money down on this game and GT5 launching just before Xmas along with a $299/£249 PS3 slim.

I doubt GT5 will be out this year, tbh.

Becuase of the rumours?

I think it will be released in Japan in 2009. And depending on when, we MAY get it in 2009, but I do’t think so.

I’d say Q1 2010.

If it’s released in Japan in 2009 I’m pretty sure that’ll be November or December… and most likely late December.

But what do I know? :D
