Poster makes cryptic references to GT5

granturismoa21

A poster on GT Planet rambled on about bird and skypaths yesterday in relation to GT5. Yes, it’s spurious. It’s been interpreted thus:

  • Global release date: December 1
  • 600+ cars, 95 tracks, some of which will be remodelled GT4 tracks/cars
  • Ability to create new tracks from existing ones
  • Extensive clan/team features
  • There will be two versions of GT5. One with all the features in it, costing the most (initially). Small version will be GT5P+, but it will cost you to get all the upgrades to the big version
  • Possible PSP/PC release

E3, maggot-farmer. Bring on the cars.

Nice research – http://twitter.com/David_Jaffe is a fake account. http://twitter.com/djaffe is the real David Jaffe.

Post first, check details later. If at all.

‘Tis the way of the competitive world of internet games journabloggism

Glancing at those tweets (ugh) it sure looks like a 360/Bungie fanboy is trying to be clever by faking a twitter account of a oft-Sony associated developer. Quite pathetic really.

No doubt, a Sony fanboy will return the favour. And that’ll get reported as some news story.

The ‘two versions’ thing makes my ‘this is going to cost more than £50′ sense tingle, for some reason.

I skipped over it yesterday. The only reason I did it was because of the Jaffe stuff.
