Gran Turismo Café opens in Japan

granturismoa2

Polyphony Digital launched the Gran Turismo Café at Twin Ring Motegi circuit in Japan last week.

Apparently, the “exterior, interior, and even the staff uniforms have been decorated in the image of Gran Turismo, and there are additional items added to the already popular menu lineup as well.”

The restaurant even has booths where you can play GT5 Prologue.

Japan always seems to get the cool stuff.

I presume the waiters follow a pre-determined path and won’t deviate even slightly if a customer gets in their way.

Also: all courses are late.

I’ve heard they save a fortune because of their indestructible crockery.

I wouldn’t say that Japan always gets the cool stuff seeing as how Gran Turismo was made by Sony. Also it wasn’t given to them they made it.

Gotta love the haters that flock to any Sony related story!

There’s only one reference to Sony there (other than yours, Shatner), the rest of us are taking the piss out of a particular game / series.
