Ghostbusters – six-minute gameplay movie

After the break. It’s direct-feed gameplay footage taken from the Spanish version of the forthcoming demo, apparently.
It looks great. This has been grabbed from PartnerNet, supposedly. Naughty rabbits.
The game’s out on June 19 for all formats.
Thanks, Blerk.

Very much looking forward to giving this a go.

This looks very pretty. I had her that Murray had dialled in his performance, but from this performance he sounds like a polymath!

Nice to see they so carefully matched the Spanish voices with the original actors!
They almost seem to be using the OST randomly in that demo. :/

I like that bit at the end of the gameplay where Venkman’s dialogue finishes but his character model’s lips carry on moving for about five seconds more in true “Monkey” style.
Looks like the sorted the licensing for the soundtrack too, judging by the trailer at the end.

It’s looking very nice indeed, I rather enjoyed the player deliberately seeing how much damage he could do to the hotel, that’s true Ghostbusting!
Acti-Blizz ditching this appears to have been a bit of a mistake.

Looks like fun. You can see where the “Gears Lite” statements come from. Nice imagination in some of the creatures in the 2nd half of that video too. Sounds like they’re using the original film’s music as well. Good audio all round.
Could be a great game of an appealing licence. Hope it does well.

Haven’t watched it all, but I couldn’t think of a better license to get a good game counterpart.
Hopefully this is it. A good story (with Bill Murray) can keep that depth of the game, to drive you to play, and there’s nothing wrong with Gears lite.
