God of War III: Two PS2′s would be needed to create Kratos’s new “memory footprint”

Speaking in the second part of a five-part PS Blog interview series with the God of War III developer team, art director Ken Feldman has said it would have taken two PS2′s to create Kratos’s “memory footprint” in the game.
The video’s after the break. The two PS2s bit comes as part of a “things we can do now we have a PS3″ list.
What’s a memory footprint? The game’s out this year, next year, sometime, never.

A memory footprint is memory that’s been kept around at all time to run the software, excluding any extra functions or processes.
Considering the PS2 had only 32MB or RAM and a 300MHZ processor, I would HOPE the game’s memory footprint would be equal to or larger than the combined processing power of two PS2s. 90% of games are.
It’s just hyperbole, and Sony cock-sucking from the developers. *rolls eyes* Do they actually think consumers are still that dense?

Wow… Bitter.
I swear you weren’t that sensitive last time you spoke. Did your best PS3 sex your sister?

Who? Me?
I just find this sort of idiotic hyperbole from developers… moronic.
You know, like the news about Saddam Hussein smuggling PS2s into his country cause it was powerful enough to launch nuclear missiles, or the PS3 being a quarter as powerful as the human brain, of the New Xbox Experience being an event on par with the wheel and the first moon landing.
That kinda thing.

That’s fine, but be careful, from now on, I’ll be policing your reponses.

Sony Defense Force and all that jazz!
Gotta hold up the fanboy of year award, otherwise my mum won’t be proud of me.
