Crytek Free Radical purchase confirmed
Administrator ReSolve Partners has confirmed last night’s rumoured sale of Free Radical to Crytek.
“We are pleased to announce that a sale completed to Crytek late last night thus preserving over 40 jobs,” said a spokesperson.
A formal announcement is expected later today.

According to ‘sources’ they still own Timesplitters and half of Haze (the other half being owned by Ubisoft). And Second Sight, which is absolutely what they should do a sequel to next. Hint hint.

Mmmmm, Crytek powered Second Sight. I hope the Timesplitters artists and animators are still there too although I wouldn’t be surprised if Doak pinched them already.
