New Ninja Blade video shows manic gameplay
After the break. It’s pretty poor quality, but that shouldn’t stop you getting an idea of the frenetic pace of From Software’s Ninja Gaiden-alike.
Looks totally mental to us, especially when your ninja dude is whizzing down a tunnel with more than healthy amounts of motion blur going on.
Ninja Blade is out in Japan on Xbox 360 29th January. Europe still TBC.

The whole building running thing, is pretty cool.
Not becuase it’s fun, but becuase it’s kind of a take on Guitar Hero, or music games like that.
I like that.

oh dear, in my mind this looks very poor indeed. The QTEs are pretty freaking obnoxious too – “LAND!” is bad enough but did I see “ENDURE!”!?
I’m seeing a game that is desperately trying to stay as true to some initial concept FMV as possible…and in the process wrestling a hell of a lot of freedom out of the hands of the player.

Yeah…
from the gameplay segments I’ve seen you be forgiven in my mind for saying this game looks more QTE heavy than heavy Rain.
