The Outer Worlds reviews round-up, all the scores

The Outer Worlds blasts off Friday, and here's what reviewers think of Obsidian's latest.

After spending the last decade making old-school isometric RPGs, The Outer Worlds is a throwback to Obsidian Entertainment's post-apocalyptic spin-off Fallout: New Vegas. While the bombs are gone and the grass is greener, there's more than a little bit of the Mohave wasteland in this space cowboy adventure.

Arriving late to a colony on the rim of the galaxy, you'll find yourself in a web of corporate conflict, espionage, and frontier retrofuturism. Like Fallout, you can choose to be the hero of the people, get in deep with a faction, and take down capitalist big-wigs.

Or forget all that, and become the biggest bastard this side of Alpha Centauri.

We'll have our own review up later on this week, but here's what the rest of the internet thought:

The Outer Worlds is out this Friday, October 25, on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
