Nintendo "no comments" new DS chatter

Following a heavily detailed Nikkei piece on the 2008 release of a substantial DS hardware revision over the weekend, Nintendo's pulled down the shutters.
"We are always developing new products," the firm told Famitsu. "However, since nothing has been announced officially, we are unable to comment at this time."
Yeah. We're suspecting there may be something in this.
