Many of Fallout 76’s main quests require you to track down a certain item in the world. Often, this is clearly signposted with helpful quest markers placed on the world map. Other times, well, it’s not so simple. One quest in particular, an Ounce of Prevention, tasks players with tracking down an item called the Type T Fuse. The problem is that finding it is not particularly easy, given that the marker has a tendency to jump around. To help you out, we’ve put together this Fallout 76 Type T Fuse Location Guide. Fallout 76 Ounce of Prevention Type T Fuse
An Ounce of Prevention is a main quest in Fallout 76 in which players track down blood samples in order to study the Scorched plague that is infecting the wasteland. The three blood vials are easily found on the enemies marked on your map, but it’s the next objective that you’ll likely run into trouble with. It involves tracking down the elusive Type-T Fuse. It is marked clearly on the map, until you get inside the building that is.
Fallout 76 Type-T Fuse Location
If you’re having trouble tracking down the Type T Fuse in Fallout 76, we’ve got you covered. You’ll want to head to Greg’s Mine Supply. This area can be found to the north of the crashed plane in the forest area. We’ve marked it on the map below, so just head to this location to begin.
Once you’ve arrived at the location, enter via the door next to the crashed blue car. There are scorched enemies both outside and inside the building, so take care. You’ll want to clear out the first room and go through the door on the far right. Once you’re in here, go through the door on the right again. You’ll be looking for a garage, with two scorched guarding a large green military crate. Once you’ve killed them, loot the box to find the Type-T Fuse.
