D'toid's Nick Chester takes a gig at Harmonix

Destructiod's Editor-in-Chief Nick Chester has announced he is leaving the site to become a publicist for Harmonix.

Chester will be packing house and moving to Boston, where come October he will be working at the studio's Cambridge, MA office.

D'toid's new Editor-in-Chief will be Dale North, who is himself a rather stand-up fella and from my original neck of the woods. Although his obsession with Corgis is a bit worrisome.

"While this is new and exciting territory for me, it wasn't an easy decision to make, said Chester. "My time with Destructoid has offered me experiences and opportunities I at one time could have only dreamed of.

"I've worked with some of the brightest, most passionate, and talented writers, all of which have become family. I couldn't have done any of this without them; they're the wind beneath my wings and all that."

We've met Nick a couple of times at events such as Captivate and Call of Duty XP, and while he is honestly considered one of the good guys in the business - he is super nice - I also have to point out that he does a badass rendition of Sabbath's War Pigs.

So, if you ever get the chance to do Karaoke with him, do so.

We here at VG247 wish him the best of luck at Harmonix.
