Did Today's Stream Sell You on Google Stadia?

E3 season is well and truly in swing. Google made its own contribution to the noise today with another brief presentation about its Stadia game streaming platform. We learned a little more about the cloud-based console, probably even enough to start asking ourselves: "Do we want this?"
A Google Stadia "Pro" subscription will cost $9.99 USD a month. That price includes some free games, but others need to be paid for. It'll have a decent game line-up when it launches in November, including Metro Exodus, Final Fantasy 15, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, and Mortal Kombat 11. The trailer for Baldur's Gate 3 debuted on the Stadia feed.
My opinion on the Stadia remains unchanged from when it debuted in March, i.e. there's simply no way my internet is robust enough to handle it. If anything, Google's latest stream left me more skeptical than ever. We're promised 4K and 60 FPS with a 36 mbps connection, but even though I clear that, the quality of my presentation feed kept dropping. I didn't watch at full-screen, and no-one else in my apartment was using the internet during the presentation. Discourse on social media suggests people with connections much quicker than my own had problems, too. It's all kind of funny in an ironic way, but I doubt Google's laughing.
