Battlefield Hardline Xbox One server issues the result of DDoS attacks

Battlefield Hardline is having a rough night on Xbox One.

Update: EA has followed up by saying that the Hardline server issues on Xbox One are the result of DDoS attacks.

We will update you as we hear more.

Original story: Battlefield Hardline players have reported server issues on Xbox One this evening.

EA is aware of the problems and on the hunt for a solution.

The problem isn't so widespread as to cause major alarm, which is good; the last few Battlefield games have had rocky launches, so EA was no doubt pushing hard to redeem the franchise's good name with this one.

Nevertheless, most reviews for Battlefield Hardline included caveats regarding the difficulty of assessing multiplayer until it goes properly public.

Hopefully the staggered international launch is helping Visceral keep things online. if you are already playing, check out our Battlefield Hardline guide for tips and tricks to progress faster and win more.
