Infinity Ward will add its 64-player multiplayer mode Ground War to the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare beta next weekend.

Those playing the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare beta next weekend will be able to participate in the 32v32 multiplayer mode, Ground War.

News of the mode coming to the beta was announced as the in-game message of the day (thanks, Charlie Intel).

The mode will be added to the beta during Weekend 2, starting on Saturday, September 21. It will be playable on the map Karst River Quarry.

This is also the day the beta opens up to players on all three platforms, regardless of pre-orders. The whole thing ends on Monday, September 23.
