The Division 2 will be released for PC through the Epic Games Store

If you're planning to purchase The Division 2 on PC, a new store option is available: the Epic Games Store.

Ubisoft and Epic Games announced today The Division 2 will be released exclusively for PC through the Epic Games Store and Uplay.

The companies are also working in tandem to "integrate key components" of Uplay's ecosystem and Epic’s online services to provide. Doing so will provide "seamless social features and interoperability."

Pre-ordering the standard, Ultimate or Gold editions through the Epic Games Store provides automatic access to the private beta. Any pre-orders previously placed elsewhere, such as Steam, will still be honored. The Steam page for The Division 2 was live up until yesterday.

Ubisoft and Epic Games store will partner on additional titles to be announced during the coming year.

Set in Washington, DC this time out, The Division 2 features new specializations, a better loadout menu, the addition of settlements, eight-player raidslooting, quality-of-life improvements, and much more.

It releases for PC through Uplay and the Epic Games Store. It will also be released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One on March 15.
