Call of Cthulhu: 7 reasons to like this Lovecraftian horror

It's nearly Halloween, so we thought we'd better do something spooky. Fortunately for us there's a new Call of Cthulhu game out, and our boy Simon Miller reckons it's alright.

Based on the works of HP Lovecraft as well as the classic Chaosium tabletop role-playing game from the 1980s, Call of Cthulhu seems to have all the expected elements of Eldritch horror; detective work, madness, cults and most probably fish men.

With a slow pace and drip-fed story, Call of Cthulhu ios a game for those that like to sink into a horror and slowly soak up the atmosphere. This isn't the chainsaws and gore of Resident Evil, but more of a mindfuck like classic GameCube scare-fest Eternal Darkness.

Anyway, with our further argh-do, here's Simon Miller's 7 reason to love a bit of Lovecraft.
