We Happy Few's latest trailer introduces new playable characters
We Happy Few is almost here, so it's time to meet Wellington Wells' other colorful characters.
We've been looking forward to We Happy Few since it was first presented as a Kickstarter campaign in 2015. Three years and one Microsoft Studios acquisition later, and the game's launch is finally in sight.
That means it's time to meet We Happy Few's other playable characters. While the game's marketing has mostly focused on Arthur, a British everyman seeking to escape Wellington Wells, the finished product will also feature stories about protagonists named Sally and Ollie.
Sally is a fashionable socialite and chemist who keeps the wealthy supplied with powerful drugs no other pharmacist could make. Unfortunately, she also has a dark past that would threaten her life if revealed. When an addict breaks into her home and exposes her secret, Sally must explore the city return her past to the shadows.
Ollie is currently a mad Scotsman living in a bombed-out train station, but years ago he was a trained soldier for the general. After encountering Arthur, he starts to regain buried memories and starts a quest for the truth. Only trouble is, city officials would rather kill Ollie before he figures the truth out.
We Happy Few launches on August 10, 2018 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Oh joy!
