We Happy Few gets a confirmed release date
We Happy Few has a release date and will be launching this August.
Microsoft shared a brand new trailer for We Happy Few at its E3 2018 showcase, which ended with the title's August 10 release date.
We Happy Few was first announced in 2015 and entered Xbox and Steam Early Access the following year.
It was no longer available to buy on Steam as of January, with Compulsion Games saying it needed more time to polish the game, pushing the release date back from April to summer 2018.
Microsoft also revealed that it has acquired Compulsion Games in its continued effort to invest in first-party games.
The company has also acquired Ninja Theory, Undead Labs, and has opened a brand new studio in Santa Monica, called The Initiative.
We Happy Few will release on August 10 for PC, PlayStation 4,and Xbox One. It will also be available for PS4 Pro and Xbox One X with with HDR and 4K support. It will run you $59.99/ £49.99/ €69.99.
