Legendary Pokemon Regigigas and Heatran will be made available for Pokemon Sun and Moon, and Ultra Sun and Moon players March 1.

The Pokemon Company announced today when players of either Pokemon Sun and Moon edition can expect Regigigas and Heatran from the Sinnoh region to be made available.

As noted above, the Legendary Pokemon will be distributed for 3DS systems starting March 1 and through March 24 wirelessly through Nintendo Network.

According to the official Pokemon website, in North America the code will be available in the Pokemon Trainer Club newsletter. Players will need to register for the Pokemon Trainer Club by March 1 in order to add the Pokemon to their respective version of the game.

In Europe, codes for the Legendary Pokemon will be handed out through your basic Nintendo Network download.

This means players have six more days to download February distribution offerings Dialga or Palkia from their local their local GameStop or GAME stores.

Pokemon Ultra Sun or Pokemon Sun players will be able add the Normal-type Regigigas to their game. Pokemon Moon and Ultra Moon players will receive a code for the Fire and Steel-type Heatran. Stats for each Pokemon are posted in the image below.

How to get Heatran or Regigigas

  1. Open your Pokemon Sun and Moon or Ultra Sun and Moon game.
  2. Select Mystery Gift on the main menu.
  3. Select Receive Gift.
  4. Select Get with Code/Password, then Yes, then Yes again to connect to the internet.
  5. Enter your code.
  6. Watch as you receive your Pokémon.
  7. Resume the game, make sure you have an empty space in your party, and speak to the delivery person in any Pokemon Center to receive your Pokemon.
  8. Be sure to save your game.

The next distribution will occur in April, and includes Raikou, the Electric-type and Entei, the Fire-type from the Johto region.
