Hitman’s sense of humour foregrounded by holiday event.
THERE IS A XMAS HITMAN LEVEL AND THE TARGETS ARE THE 2 IDIOTS FROM HOME ALONE pic.twitter.com/X7xXYwv95W

Hitman fans have been surprised by a neat little twist on this week’s new content.
See, when IO Interactive detailed the Hitman holiday event, it failed to mention that the two targets of the new Paris mission were a pair of familiar faces – the goons from perennial Christmas movie favourite, Home Alone.
That’s right: forced to flee the US after having ten kinds of shit kicked out of them by a tiny child with a genius for traps, Harry “Smokey” Bognato and Marv “Slick” Gonif now face an even deadlier foe in Hitman. The tweet above shows the mission text in question.
Honestly, I can’t imagine what Agent 47 could do to these guys that could be more painful and undignified than what they’ve been through. No word yet on what the “strange jingling noise” means for Hitman players, but let’s hope it’s presents.
