Monster Hunter Generations demo is out now. Here's how to get it

Monster Hunter Generations was showcased during the Nintendo Treehouse event at E3 and as well as sharing the shiny new trailer above , they also announced a demo, which you can get hold of in a number of different ways.

If you're in Europe, you can get the demo for free right now, as per this tweet from the Nintendo of Europe account.

The second way is totally randomised. According to the Capcom blog, some 3DS owners "may receive an email from Nintendo" that will contain two download codes that you can redeem in the eShop. As you only need the one code, you can choose to be benevolent and bestow the spare one on those who are keen to curry favour.

For everyone else, you can pick up the demo as part of the E3 2016 Humble Bundle Digital Ticket where you'll find it in the $4 tier.

If you don't want to fork out for it, and you're not in Europe, and you're not one of the chosen, then you'll just have to wait until June 30 when the demo will be made available for everyone in the eShop.

As for what you'll be able to do in the demo, the Capcom blog was keen to highlight how beefy the content will be, offering "3 main quests (Hunt a Great Maccao, Hunt a Malfestio, Hunt a Nargacuga) that you can take on either solo or co-op (local or online!), along with a selection of basic tutorials for newcomers. It also features all 14 weapon types x 4 Hunting Styles and Prowler mode."

And they've removed the cap on how many times you can play it.

Monster Hunter Generations is coming to Nintendo 3DS in North America and Europe this summer, on July 15.
