Hitman: Absolution is coming to Xbox One through backward compatibility

IO Interactive is bringing Hitman: Absolution to Xbox One through the Xbox 360 backward compatibility feature.

Release timing wasn't provided as "specifics were up to Microsoft," but studio head Hannes Seifert told Worthplaying during the Hitman media event last month it's in the works.

Seifert also said IO would like to see all of its Xbox 360 titles released through the service.

The Hitman beta is currently live for PS4 users who pre-ordered, and will arrive on PC February 19.

It releases on March 11 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

We have a couple of gameplay videos pulled from the beta posted here on the site. One gives you a look at the full training mission and the other shows two ways to assassinate your target in the second mission.
