A Mega Man movie may be in development at Fox

By James O'Connor, Friday, 4 September 2015 01:07 GMT

A report has surfaced suggesting that a Mega Man movie may be in early development.

The news has been posted by The Tracking Board. The story doesn’t provide much in the way of sources, which means that the news should maybe be taken with a grain of salt, but the site is reputable and they seem confident.

According to the site, “20th Century Fox and Chernin Entertainment have started development on a fan favorite in the video game world”. Peter Chernin is set to produce. Few details beyond that are provided.

We wouldn’t expect any concrete information about Mega Man hitting the big screen for a while yet. Until then, Mega Man fans can occupy themselves with The Mega Man Legacy Collection.
