Overwatch will ship with an FOV slider

Overwatch, Blizzard's first foray into the world of competitive multiplayer shooters on PC, will add a long-requested feature.

Being a PC exclusive, it was a little strange to think Overwatch would not ship with an FOV slider. The feature is practically essential on PC, given the short distance one would usually sit away from their monitor.

Thankfully, the developer has today confirmed that the game will indeed come with one. "We’ve implemented the FOV slider to provide players with options in consideration of aiming preferences, viewmodels, dizziness and nausea,” the developer told GamesOnNet in a statement.

"We are constantly fine-tuning the game, and will remain open to feedback as testing continues."

Overwatch is due for a beta test this year.
