Bladestorm: Nightmare release date moved to mid-March

Koei Tecmo Europe announced today an updated release date for Bladestorm: Nightmare.

The Hundred Years War game will arrive in North America on March 17 and in Europe March 20 on PlayStation 3, PS4, and Xbox One. The PS3 version is digital only.

Bladestorm: Nightmare is a remake of the 2007 tactical action game set during the 100 Years War and is from Omega Force. The battle system has been updated to allow simultaneous control of up to four army units to provide for a more strategic edge.

Units can be re-positioned at any time and players can choose to switch to command any of these units in real time, combine them in a "200 soldier troop for a charged attack," or issue orders via the battle map interface.

Players can choose between fighting for England or France.

The new Nightmare mode give the player an opportunity to battle or control armies of mythical creatures.
