League of Legends boasts a colourful cast of characters, all of whom are admirably well-equipped to beat the living s**t out of each other - which is what they do in this new cinematic.

Called A New Dawn, LoL's latest cinematic trailer gets you closer to the action than the usual MOBA perspective allows.

Fans have strong opinions as to which of these champions would really win in a battle like this, but regardless of how this match line-up would fare, it's super cool to see powers and abilities you recognise being used.

MOBAs are kind of hard to sell just with gameplay footage, because it doesn't convey the intricate strategic dance behind all the explosions and what not. Cinematic trailers like thislure newbies in with characters they'd like to play as; that's probably why Gearbox produced a similar trailer for Battleborn.
