HMV: Oxford Street store to close, Hilco confirms

HMV owner Hilco has confirmed that its Oxford Street store will close after opening over 30 years ago.
The Telegraph reports that the store at 150 Oxford Street will become a Sports Direct outlet, while HMV will open a new, smaller site at 363 Oxford Street.
HMV's 60,000ft Oxford Street store has played home to many high-profile game launches and features a gameplay suite.
