Chaos;Child is the next game in Steins;Gate series, developers give initial details

Chaos;Child has been announced by Japanese developer MAGES and will be co-developed by 5pb. It's the fourth game in the same series that includes the popular Steins;Gate.

The announcement was covered by Famitsu and picked up by AnimeNewsNetwork.

MAGES music producer Chiyomaru Shikura confirmed the title on Twitter at the weekend, and was discussed later at the Live5pb.2013 event in Japan. A trailer was also shown.

The game is coming to Japan in 2014 and is set a year later in Tokyo's Shibuya district. The plot revolves around items called 'Power Seals' that are strewn across the district, and has some connection to visual novel Chaos;Head Noah.

It's all very confusing if you don't know the series, I'm sure. But for now, what do you think?
