PlayStation 4 has proved pretty damn popular with online shoppers, likely netting a pretty penny for those willing to on-sell their launch day consoles to those who couldn’t secure a pre-order.

Speaking to Gamespot, eBay confirmed that 10,000 PS4s were sold through the site last weekend, following the North American launch on Friday.

In total, over 15,000 PS4’s have been sold through eBay since November 1, and more than two systems were sold every minute between November 15 and 17.

There are currently around 13,000 PS4 listings on eBay, but sales of older consoles have also spiked by 25% compared to the ten days before the PS4’s launch, presumably as gamers endeavour to fund the purchase of new hardware.

The PS4 hits Europe and selected further territories on November 29.
