Crysis 3 DLC: Crytek teaser images suggest return to the jungle

Crysis 3 developer Crytek has been teasing its incoming DLC for the game through a series of images. The shots show tropical locations similar to those explored in the first game, and the studio is also asking fans to choose between two new weapons.

Rumours of the multiplayer DLC began when these Xbox 360 achievements were spotted online, suggesting the pack will house four new maps and the ability to use boat oars as giant polearms.

Now, Crytek has been tweeting out images of tropical locations and more, showing off coastal bases and shorelines together with lens flare effects not present in the original game.

The studio also posted this image and asked players to choose which weapon they'd like to use in battle:
