Video Games: The Movie documentary takes to Kickstarter

Video Games: The Movie is a feature length documentary from Mediajuice Studios on the video game industry and the culture it's created, and it needs your help on Kickstarter.

According to the Kickstarter page, the documentary "aims to tell the untold story of video games by an in depth look into not only how games are made, marketed and consumed by looking back at the industry’s history, current trends as well as the evolution of gamer culture."

The story in the film will be told "through the eyes of game developers, publishers, and consumers," and will contain interviews with over 100 game developers, industry icons and more.

It will also feature looks into various gaming events such as E3, Comic Con, Quake Con, and others and a look into some of the studios which create the games consumed by the masses.

The film will even take a look into where industry is headed in the future.

Video Games: The Movie needs $60,000 to meet its goal, and so far, 110 backers have pledged $10,545 with 34 days left.
