Microsoft has hired Kate Barnes as executive producer of Microsoft Studios’ Soho Productions and will be in charge of the firm’s EMEA “2-way TV experiences.” Barnes was formerly Channel 5’s digital boss. “It’s an amazing time to be joining not only Soho Productions but also Xbox as we look to evolve the content experience to meet the changing ways that audiences are consuming entertainment,” said Barnes. “Soho Productions are at the forefront of this and have already demonstrated their innovation and commitment in this space with Kinect Sesame Street TV last year.” Thanks MCV.
