Zynga’s Cityville is one year old this week, and with 49.7 million monthly users, has been the most popular Facebook game for exactly that length of time.

Unfazed by strong competition from the phenomenal success of rival The Sims Social (30.4 million MAUs) and Zynga’s own first game in the series, FarmVille (30.9 million MAUs), CityVille has begin to widen its lead again.

The average Cityville user plays five times a day, and 53% are female. Highest concurrent users occurs just after midday PST, suggesting the West Coast gets a few lunch-time rounds in.

Zynga posted a neat infographic outling these factoids and more; check it out below. Did you know there are about 13,000 times more chain burger joints in CityVille than exist in the real world?
