Sony's E3 press conference to be held on June 6

Sony has announced that its E3 press conference will be held on Monday, June 6 at 5:00 pm PST.

The presser will take place at the Los Angeles Memorial Sports Arena during E3, which is held from June 7-9.

We're placing bets the name of NGP will be revealed at the event. Hopefully, we'll come out ahead or at least break even.

Last year, Sony announced the new Twisted Metal for PS3, Portal 2 with Steamworks, as well as provided dates for GT5 and announced exclusive content for Medal of Honor, Mafia II, and Dead Space 2, as well as an Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood MP beta exclusive to PS3.

PlayStation Plus was also announced, along with a slew of Move titles, and Kevin Butler took to the stage.

Of course, just like last year, VG247 will be there covering it live as it happens.
