Peter Dille exits Sony

By Brenna Hillier, Wednesday, 9 March 2011 05:32 GMT

Long-serving marketing executive Peter Dille has bid Sony Computer Entertainment America adieu.

IGN reports Dille served with SCEA from 1991-1999, and then again from 2006 onwards after a stint as vice president of worldwide marketing at THQ.

Most recently, Dille was Sony’s vice president of marketing and the PlayStation Network.

Dille’s destination and motivation are unknown, and his position remains unfilled – although Sony did issue a perfectly amicable statement on the matter, highlighting his key role in establishing the US PSN.

Current executive staff will cover Dille’s former duties until a new hire is made.
