Realtime Worlds talking to buyers amid 75% staff reduction

Realtime Worlds is currently chatting up multiple buyers "in both the UK and US," according to Paul Dounis, the firm's administration consultant from Begbies Traynor.

Speaking with Edge, Dounis said RTW is "actively pursuing expressions of interest which have come from both the UK and US", and "The game [APB] will continue and that is something we want all customers to be aware of."

Dounis also confirmed 53 positions held by 210 staffers had been retained at the Dundee studio, while the US-end in Boulder, Colorado, had 14 jobs retained out 42.

He added trade creditors in the UK are "owed in the region of £3 million".

The news of RTW's troubles starting trickling out last week.
