PC Zone to close down

By Johnny Cullen, Wednesday, 14 July 2010 13:32 GMT

PC Zone editor Steve Hogarty has confirmed that the magazine is to close following its next issue.

Hogarty contacted MCV to say he is no longer with the Future mag, having taken up a position at Gamereactor.eu last week.

The September issue will be the last.

RPS first reported the news this afternoon.

Staff have been informed of the decision.

PC Zone was first published in April 1993 by Dennis Publishing until its 2004 buy-out by Future Publishing.

And that’s that, then. Farewell, chaps.
