EA: Traditional retail outlets here for the “foreseeable future”
In a tidy presentation to investors and analysts that will have rocked no boats whatsoever, EA has reaffirmed the crucial role of traditional high street retailers – for the foreseeable future, at least. At the same time, the publishing giant’s focus on digital distribution continues to grow.

GOG.com is having an 18-day sale, where a lesser-known classic title from the site’s back-catalog will be on sale every day for 24 hours during the site’s “Summer Hidden Gems sale.” Along with this nice announcement comes word that the first 60 percent discount has been handed over to cult adventure game Sanitarium, which is available right now for $3.99. It will remain on sale until tomorrow at 5.59am EST/9.59am GMT.
