Vita reviews hit ahead of next week’s launch – get them all
Sony’s lifted the embargo on reviews for the first-party launch line-up for PlayStation Vita following the announcement of UK download prices earlier. Those include Uncharted: Golden Abyss, Wipeout 2048, ModNation Racers, Everybody’s Golf: World Tour, Little Deviants and Reality Fighters. How do they stack? Get them below the break. Vitastic: Hands-on with first-party Vita titles at Sony event
Straight after the Sony press conference tonight, Johnny Cullen went hands-on with three first-party titles for Vita. One in particular, while obvious, may be its biggest software seller.

Rumor – NGP to launch outside of Japan first, four launch titles revealed
A source close to Jolt has told the site four first-party titles are planned for release alongside NGP “later this year,” and Japan will not be the first to get the new system.

Modnation Racers results in 2 million “creations”
Sony said last night that 2 million tracks, cars and whatever else have been created for PS3 kart game Modnation Racers since it released last May. The company is celebrating by releasing the game as a Greatest Hits title in the US for $30. A bunch of new, free DLC will be put out for the game this week. There’s more on the PS Blog.

Killzone’s Helghast get ModNation Racers treatment
SCEA’s announced that the Helghast from Killzone will make an appearance into ModNation Racers as part of DLC hitting the United Front DIY title. A Helghast-themed mod and racer is yours to buy for $1.99 when the US PS Store updates tonight.

ModNation Racers to get premium unlock key
Sony’s confirmed it’s to release a premium unlock key for ModNation Racers today in the US. That means that everything in the DIY United Front racer will be unlocked at a price.

Report – Virgin Gaming to sponsor ModNation tournament
It looks as though Virgin Gaming has entered into a partnership with Toronto based WorldGaming.com, despite Branson’s venture not being formally announced yet.

ModNation Racers pre-orders bring on the Sack, Drake and Kratos
A new developer update for ModNation Racers over on the US PS Blog has revealed some of the nifty mods you get for Ratchet, Clank, Kratos, Nathan Drake, and Sackboy with his cardboard racer.
Sackboy will be part of a special pack released for the game with a PSN voucher for the cutie pie.
There’s also some pre-order goodies from retailers Amazon, Best Buy, GameStop, and GameCrazy where you can get one of the four bonus Mod and Kart packs. You can check those out here.
Each pack comes with an original Mod and Kart Body, plus you get special accessories that you can use when creating your own.

ModNation Racers for PS3 will release on May 21 in the UK, and the US on May 25.
