Zen Pinball HD continues its quest to be available absolutely everywhere by swanning onto Google Play. Now Android users cna enjoy the free-to-play Pinball title which offers one built-in table and 15 licensed and themed tables as premium DLC. All tables will be on sale for 99¢ during the sim’s launch week. The Android version boasts hotseat local multiplayer and achievements, but no online or leaderboard function.

Deceptively simple and gloriously atmospheric strategy effort Eufloria HD is now available on Google Play for £2.99 / $4.99. The game once known as Dyson was previously made available to Android users through a Humble Bundle. Other versions are available for iDevice, Mac, PC and via the PlayStation Network.

Google has announced that its Android store has a significant number of apps available – although just how many is a bit fuzzy. According to Bloomberg, the company claims to have “about 700,000″ apps on Google Play, although this ad for the Nexus notes that there are “more than 675,000″. Apple announced last week that there are over 700,000 apps on its iOS App Store.

A Google Play update will allow users to place items on a wishlist for later purchase. The update is slowly being rolled out on a per-account basis. If you have version 3.9.16, a bookmark option will be added to the top right of you screen when on an app page.

Android users take note; Google Play is celebrating its 25 billionth download by offering serious savings on its most popular apps. Although the sale is nominally 75% or more off the cover charge, in practice everything included in the sale costs costs 25¢. Microsoft soft has released its first game for Android, and it’s Kinectimals. The game, originally released for Kinect and MS’s first iOS game, adds five new baby critters to the ones already pulled from the console version of the game. It will run you $2.99. Thanks, GI International.

Google has enabled in-app subscriptions for apps sold through Play, its all-in-one replacement for the Android Marketplace. The new system allows developers to bill monthly or annually, and all subscriptions automatically renew. Glu Mobile is the first company to get on board. An app, which provides the current status of Diablo III’s servers, has been released for Android through Google Play. Developed by Eluamous, creator of a similar app for World of Warcraft, the free app is ad supported and allows you to check the status of servers in Asia, Europe and the US without bothering to log into your PC or Mac. Google has told TechCrunch that its app store, Google Play, passed the 15 billion download mark “a few weeks ago.” The last time the firm mentioned how many downloads the store had received was during its Q4 2011 earnings in January when the number stood at 11 billion. In comparison, Apple’s App Store hit 15 billion downloads in July 2011, and as of March 2012 the figure was 25 billion downloads. According to TechCrunch’s figures, Google Play is seeing around 1 billion downloads a month where as Apple sees around 1.25 billion. Google currently has 500,000 apps available while Apple has 600,000 available.
