Amiga classics heading to Android later this year

Amiga Games is bringing a library of games hailing from the classic format to Android devices later this year via Google Play.

Earlier this month we reported that Amiga Games and its 300-or-so game properties were bought by LA-based content distributor Writers' Group Film Corp for $500,000, and that the group planned on re-releasing some games.

Now, in a new press release, the company has confirmed it will bring several Amiga classics to Google Play in time for the 2013 holiday season.

There's no word on what games are first for the Android treatment, but the Amiga does have a rich, diverse back-catalogue of titles.

Which ones would you like to see on Google Play? Let us know below.
